Still Missing Tilly... Has Anyone Seen Her?

Much has happened since my last post. For one thing, I've written an ebook on what people can do if their pet is lost or missing. Shortly thereafter, I was hired to help someone else write their book on finding a lost pet. It's good to know that other people want to help those who have missing pets.

In the process of writing the books, some friends donated photos of their pets. Thanks to all of you!

Even people on Craigslist wanted to donate their missing pet's photos for the book. Whenever they did, I gave them a copy of the book. The heaviness in their heart is obvious and a constant reminder about the void in my own heart. Some of them seem desperate; that's another feeling I can definitely identify with. I think about all the times when I desperately combed the streets of Grass Valley where Tilly was supposedly lost, yelling out her name until I could yell no more. And I still feel desperate without her.

And then there was the immense desperation felt when the truth was revealed and I still couldn't have her back. I still don't know where she is and the police have been no help.

Yet, there's some part of me that says Tilly is still coming home; just wait a little while longer.

  1. Donna, as a Christian, can you ever forgive? I asked God to forgive me about the whole thing, and it still comes back to me that Tilly needed so much medical help that you couldn't pay for, and she's in a better place now. She IS home where she belongs, very happy, safe, protected...she gets dental cleanings, regular vet visits, and lots of love. Please face the fact that when you brought her up to me, she was almost dead from the dog attack on her. Then it turned out she had to have very expensive dental work. If I hadnt been so afraid of hurting you, I would have told you then that I was taking her back & giving her to someone who could take care of her & provide medical help for her. Anyway, it's all water under the bridge and you may want to pray for forgiveness in all these areas.
